Accessibility

Our Commitment

Rahu S.r.l. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

This website strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, as required by Italian D.Lgs. 36/2023, EU Directive 2016/2102, and the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882).

Status: Partially conformant — some components have known limitations (see below).

Last self-assessment: April 2026
Assessment method: Self-evaluation (automated tools: axe DevTools, Lighthouse; manual keyboard testing; color contrast verification)
Next planned review: October 2026

We actively ensure the following:

  • Sufficient color contrast (verified: cyan on dark ≥ 15:1 — WCAG AAA)
  • Keyboard navigation on all interactive elements (Tab, Enter, Space, Escape)
  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer)
  • prefers-reduced-motion respected — animations and 3D effects disabled when set in OS
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative SVGs marked aria-hidden
  • Responsive design from 320px upward
  • No flashing content above 3 Hz (WCAG SC 2.3.1)
  • Skip-to-content link on every page
  • Form inputs with aria-labels
  • FAQ accordion with aria-expanded states

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some elements may have limitations:

  • Particle animations in the hero section may not be accessible to screen readers (they are decorative and do not convey information)
  • Some animations use motion that may affect users with vestibular disorders — we recommend enabling "Reduce Motion" in your operating system settings
